Performance Health Technologies' CORE:TX® Rehabilitation Tool to Debut at Interactive Metronome Conference
Trenton, NJ (September 27, 2007)Performance Health Technologies, Inc. (PHT), a leader in the development and marketing of innovative products that guide and monitor exercise and rehabilitation, today announced its distribution partner, Interactive Metronome (IM), will debut PHT's patent-pending Core:Tx® technology at the IM Professional Conference in Chicago, I.L. on September 28-30, 2007.
Core:Tx® is a computer-based program that uses wireless motion-sensing technology designed for neuromuscular re-education, a technique used by rehabilitation therapists to restore normal movement in patients with neuromuscular impairments resulting from trauma, medical conditions and neurological conditions, such as stroke and traumatic brain injury.
PHT entered into a distribution agreement with Interactive Metronome (IM), a leader in the interactive therapy market, in February, as previously disclosed in PHT's form 10SB, to sell and distribute Core:Tx® to its existing network of over 4,000 physical therapists as well as develop and implement a related Continuing Medical Education (CME) credit curriculum and certification.
"We are excited that Interactive Metronome is beginning to bring the Core:TX® technology to a large clinical population across the country," said Robert D. Prunetti, chief executive officer of PHT. "We expect the depth of their sales force will greatly enhance PHT's ability to gain market share."
