REDESIGNED WEB SITE LAUNCHED BY PERFORMANCE HEALTH TECHNOLOGIES

Performance Health Technologies (PHT), a leader in the development and marketing of innovative products that guide and monitor exercise and rehabilitation, launched a redesigned, customer-focused Web site, www.performancehealth.com, offering visitors additional ease and flexibility in accessing information as well as new features and content not previously available.

The site, developed by Somerset, N.J.-based digital consultancy, JK Design, is designed to showcase PHT’s full technology portfolio of innovative mind-and-body performance evaluation and rehabilitation products, including its proprietary Core:Tx® system, a computer-based program that uses wireless motion-sensing technology to restore normal movement in patients with neuromuscular impairments resulting from trauma, medical conditions and neurological conditions, such as stroke and traumatic brain injury.

"When our distribution partner, Interactive Metronome, a leader in the interactive therapy market, began bringing our Core:TX® technology to a large clinical population across the country over the past few months, it became clear immediately that we would need a Web site that could handle the increased traffic to our site, as well as leverage advancements in Internet technology to effectively demonstrate the capabilities of our products,” said Robert D. Prunetti, chief executive officer of PHT.

In addition to demonstrations and detailed information on PHT’s innovative rehabilitation technologies, the new site also includes in-depth company background, investor information, and an online press room.

“When our Core:Tx® technology was featured in The Cincinnati Enquirer last month, our site saw an immediate spike in the number of visitors,” said Prunetti. “As we continue to ramp up our sales and marketing efforts, we needed a site capable of effectively sharing news with a more robust audience. We have invested heavily in the convergence of clinical knowledge and cutting-edge technology to develop our own proprietary products, and it was the next logical step to create a web infrastructure that could support those efforts.”
