Edward J. Sherman
Ed Sherman retired from his position as Vice President, Infiniti East a division of Nissan Motor Corporation in October 2002.
Sherman joined Nissan Motor Corporation in October 1976 where he held key management positions leading up to the Vice President in charge of structuring, selecting representatives and introducing Infinity dealerships in the United States.
Before joining Nissan Motor Corporation, Sherman was a teacher in the City of Boston school district from 1970 to 1976. Here he taught English and Coached the Schools Baseball Team and served as Chairman of the Faculty Senate. From 1967 to 1970 he served as an Officer in The United States Marine Corp. Sherman held various position in the USMC including; Infantry Platoon Commander, Company Executive Officer and Battalion Intelligence Officer. He is a decorated Vietnam Veteran.
Ed most recently has been involved in the political arena where he ran for Montgomery Township Committee (November 2005) with the belief that government needs to have a greater sense of accountability to the tax-payers in all areas especially leadership and fiscal responsibilities.
Sherman holds a BS in Finance with a minor in Economics from Carroll School of Management; Boston College and a Masters in Education from Boston University.
Additionally, he serves on Belle Mead (NJ) Township Committee for the Veterans Memorial, Chairman of the Development Committee Board of Trustees of the Hun School in Princeton as well as a member of the Executive Committee and Investment Committee for the Hun School. He's a member of the Strategic Planning Committee and Membership Committee for Cherry Valley Country Club, NJ.
Born in Boston, MA, Sherman is married to Lucia Sherman. They have two grown children; Corey and Casey.
