Meets ASTM Level 2 Standards
Worn properly, this face mask covers the nose and mouth to help protect the wearer from breathing in harmful contaminants. Recommended for healthcare settings, the mask has been rigorously tested and meets ASTM Level 2 standards for filtration and breathability. It provides moderate barrier protection against low-to-moderate levels of aerosols, sprays and fluids.
Composed of Three Non-Woven Layers
The mask consists of three layers: spunbond non-woven polypropylene inner layer, melt-blown non-woven polypropylene middle layer, and spunbond non-woven polypropylene outer layer. The middle layer stops microbes and particulate substances from coming into contact with the face. Bacterial and particle filtration efficiency have been clinically proven to exceed 98%.
Reduces Risk of Inhalation Exposure
The disposable mask is constructed with an adjustable nose bridge and soft ear loops on each side. Designed to effectively isolate infections, the clip on the bridge of the nose (0.5mm) helps minimize air leakage. Providing maximum coverage, the mask creates a seal around the face to prevent gaps that increase the risk of inhalation exposure.
