The Rolyan Hand-Based Thumb Spica Splint supports the CMC joint and immobilizes the thumb MCP joint. Preformed from 1/16" Polyform material with 1/16" Plastazote padding. Splint is ideal for arthritis, skier's thumb and gamekeeper's thumb. Includes all necessary strapping and a 1/2" self-adhesive D-ring strap to hold the thumb securely.
Supportive CMC Joint Brace
The Rolyan Hand-Based Thumb Spica Splint supports the carpometacarpal (CMC) joint and immobilizes the thumb metacarpophalangeal (MCP) joint while leaving the fingers free during day-to-day activities. The thumb spica brace supports painful and unstable joints due to arthritis, skier's thumb, and gamekeeper's thumb. It may also be used to relieve pain from deQuervain’s syndrome.
Comfortable and Customizable Thumb Support
The hand-based thumb spica splint is preformed from 1/16" Polyform material with 1/16" Plastazote padding for comfortable support during daily wear. It includes all necessary strapping and a 1/2" self-adhesive D-ring strap to hold the thumb securely. The thumb support brace should be fitted by a healthcare professional.
Available in Various Sizes
To properly aid arthritis and other joint pain, the Rolyan Hand-Based Thumb Spica Splint should be sized by measuring the width from 2nd to 5th MCP. The small size fits hand widths from 3-1/4"- 3-1/2", medium fits 3-1/2" - 4", and large fits 4" and up.
