Orthosis for Paresis

The Chrisofix Orthosis for Paresis provides effective fixation or immobilization of the wrist, hand, long fingers, and thumb. It is commonly used for conservative treatment in tendonitis, inflammation, and degenerative diseases of the wrist, hand, and fingers that result in mild to moderate muscular weakness. It can even be used as a resting splint during the rehabilitation phase following surgery or cast removal. Recommended for patients with paresis of the wrist, long fingers and thumbs.

Made from premium medical-grade materials, the Orthosis for Paresis offers both comfort and stability during use. The Chrisofix® orthosis incorporates a corrugated aluminum core embedded in a cotton-laminated foam liner, and is finished with velour-coated polyethylene foam for breathable support. For enhanced stability, the Premium Forte version includes an aluminum strap, delivering advanced POP-like circular fixation.

Adjustable Fit

The adjustable core inside Chrisofix® orthoses allow for a customizable fit around the affected area. Initial rough adjustments (such as bending) should be made on a non-injured limb of similar size. Fine adjustments and further modifications, such as after reducing soft tissue swelling, can be done without removing the orthosis. To size, measure the width of the palm.
