Wrist Immobilization Orthosis

The Chrisofix® Ulnar Wrist Orthosis provides fixation of the wrist without hindering the movement of the unaffected fingers. It provides excellent support for cases of wrist distortions, stable fractures, and helps stabilize the wrist following surgery and after initial fixation with a cast. The orthosis is also commonly used to help immobilize the wrist to aid the treatment of tendonitis/tendovaginitis (without involvement of the thumb), degenerative or inflammatory conditions, or during adjuvant therapy of reflex sympathetic dystrophy.

Featuring an innovative design, the Ulnar Wrist Orthosis layers a moldable aluminum core with breathable, perforated cotton and foam for stable support that does not compromise comfort. The Premium version of this splint is finished with velour-coated polyethylene foam and secured with textile straps for added stability that does not irritate during daily activities.

Conform to the Affected Area

The ready-to-adjust Chrisofix® orthosis should be roughly adjusted on the unaffected limb. If fine adjustments and readjustments are necessary to accommodate swelling, adjustments can be made on the injured limb without removing the orthosis. Measure the width of the palm to size.
