Moist heat therapy is especially useful in treating pain related to muscle strain and tension which results in muscle spasms. The Digital Moist Heating Pad is designed to draw moisture from the air and retain it in the 100% cotton cover. The retained moisture is rapidly heated by high-grade ceramics allowing deeper penetration of heat into the body’s tissue.
Heating Pads in a Variety of Sizes
The moist heating pads are available in 3 different size options: 14" x 14" (for knees, ankles, and the lower back), 14" x 27" (for larger areas of the body/back), and 23" X 20" (for the shoulder and back). There is no water to add, no water to boil, no dripping packs, and no towels to prepare. When the heating pad is turned on, the rapid heat rise forces the moisture out of the cotton cover onto the skin to provide temporary relief.
Features a Digital Hand Control
The moist heating pad features a digital hand control allowing the operator to program the following parameters: treatment temperature (88°–166°) and treatment time (1–60 min.). Other digital controls include an automatic shut-off to prevent overheating. The easy-to-read LCD display of the electric heat pad also features a lockout mode that guards against the change of the settings during treatment.
