DynaPro Flex Knee Orthotics are flexible static braces with dynamic properties that are bioengineered to effectively treat neurocontractures. A patented negative tension force will "give" with episodes of abnormal tone to accommodate spastic episodes. The abnormal reflex arc therapy, provided by the brace, can reduce the intensity and duration of spasticity over time. DynaPro Orthotics are fit to gently "flex" into contractures to reverse lost range of motion. The Flex Splint offers neuro-dynamic therapy for mild to moderate contractures and spasticity of the knee and reverses contractures and spasticity in non-ambulatory patients. The splint provides dynamic low load prolonged stretch and neurorehabilitation while the patented negative non-linear "flex" properties accommodates involuntary muscle contractions. Gel pads in the thigh, as well as the calf and knee pad provide pressure relief and added comfort.
