Comfortable Solution to Swelling
EdemaWear® stockinettes use a unique longitudinal compression system to help move fluid out of edematous areas of the body safely and comfortably. Comfortable and more easily tolerated than traditional compression garments. Manufactured by Compression Dynamics LLC.
The EdemaWear Difference
Unlike traditional compression garments, EdemaWear features Fuzzy Wale Compression. This technology creates zero pressure zones between compression to enhance lymphatic drainage. Constructed of easy-to-apply and latex-free materials, these garments are more comfortable than standard compression garments.
EdemaWear Maintenance
EdemaWear offers limited maintenance for four to six months of wear. To wash, hand wash or machine wash in cold water. To remove blood stains apply hydrogen peroxide and hang to dry when complete. Do not use bleach.
Application
EdemaWear application is quick and easy! Simply roll EdemaWear stockinet up in your hands like you are applying a stocking, and turn over the top of the EdemaWear making a 3” cuff (EdemaWear will not unravel). Remove daily and reapply after repositioning or bathing.
Sizing
Sizing is available in four options: Small, Medium, Large, and X-Large. Size Small is sold in 12 pairs, and sizes Medium through X-large sold as 12 individuals. Sizing is determined by the circumference of the arm, calf, or thigh being covered. The Small size features a navy stripe, is for extremity circumferences up to 18”, measures 22” in length, and is designed for wrist to shoulder or foot to knee applications. The Medium size features a yellow stripe, is for extremity circumferences up to 30”, measures 34” in length, and designed for wrist to shoulder or foot to groin applications. The Large size features a red stripe, is for extremity circumferences up to 46”, measures 24” in length, and is designed for obese foot to groin applications. The X-Large size features a teal stripe, is for extremity circumferences up to 60”, measures 24” in length, and is designed for morbidly obese foot to groin applications.
