Richmar Hydratherm Deluxe Edition
The HydraTherm Deluxe Edition offers an easy to use, electric draining system. This unit is equipped with a drainage pump, making it easier to replace water and reduce the time spent cleaning between use. The deluxe heating unit also features a foldable side shelf that allows for additional work space when retrieving hot packs. Both Standard and Deluxe models measure 30"W x 20"D x 33"H.
Traditional Rack/Storage System
The Richmar HydraTherm units are available with a traditional storage system. This rack system allows for a higher volume of Hydraheat packs to be stacked and heated in the unit. The moist heat packs sit in the water and must be safely removed using tongs.
Divider Rack/Storage System
In addition to the traditional storage system, Richmar Hydratherm also has a divider system available. This is ideal for lower volume clinics because fewer hot packs are stored for use. The three plastic dividers have handles that sit above the waterline, making it easier to retrieve the packs without the use of tongs.

HYDRATHERM MOIST HEAT THERAPY
• HydraTherm has a seamless tank made from composite plastic
• Non-porous polymer skinned HydraHeat Packs keep contents completely contained
• Non-porous HydraHeat Packs can be wiped clean after each treatment to avoid introducing bacteria into the tank, allowing safer temperatures
• A single towel or pillowcase can act as a barrier between the patient and HydraHeat Pack, making them easy to launder
TRADITIONAL MOIST HEAT THERAPY
• Rusty steel tanks with seams where bacteria and mold can penetrate and incubate
• Canvas packs that leak bentonite clay into the tank and onto coverings
• Canvas hot packs require high temperatures (160°F and above) to reduce bacteria growth, resulting in a burn risk for patients and staff
• Thick terry cloth covers are required as a barrier to protect patients from burns, but remain unwashed and damp between patients
