Designed to promote proper positioning techniques, it supports both patient comfort and caregiver safety during routine care activities.

Integrated Positioning Support and Incontinence Protection

The positioning wedges feature Velcro® strips that securely attach to the bed pad, helping keep the wedges properly positioned during use. The three-layer bed pad is designed for comfort, pressure management, and incontinence protection, with a soft brushed tricot top layer, an absorbent foam middle layer, and a urineproof vinyl bottom layer laminated to cotton for durability and moisture resistance. The system can also be used to assist with side positioning during mat assessments, supporting safe and effective patient evaluation and care.

Easy-Care Maintenance and Versatile Patient Support

The Skil-Care In-Bed Patient Positioning System is designed for convenient cleaning and maintenance. The positioning wedges may be cleaned using a standard spray-type cleaner with a damp cloth or sponge, and a mild disinfectant may be applied as needed. The launderable bed pad can be washed using standard white goods laundry procedures; however, wash and dry temperatures should not exceed 180°F (82°C) to help maintain product integrity. In addition to providing positioning support, the washable bed pad can also be used as a transfer pad, offering added versatility for patient care.
