Patients will progress from improvement of sensory and motor skills to strengthening functional patterns of mandibular movement using Chewy Tubes. The Jaw Rehabilitation Kit includes a 50-page manual, 25 assessment forms, and 6 Chewy Tubes.
Chewy Tubes are oral motor devices that are designed to provide a chewable surface for developing and practicing fundamental biting and chewing skills. The tube in inserted into the mouth providing tactile and oral stimulation. The Yellow Chewy Tube is ⅜” in diameter and the Red Chewy Tube is ½” diameter. All Chewy Tubes are safe, non-toxic, lead-free, and no PVC or phthalates. Use under supervision.
