Pre-Moistened Lemon Glycerin Swabsticks
Lemon Glycerin Swabsticks are intended for temporary relief of minor soreness and irritation of the mouth. The oral swabs are flavored lemon for pleasant tasting and taste bud stimulation. The swabsticks are also packaged in foil to prevent the loss of moisture in the oral swabs until use.
Helps Stimulate Saliva Flow for Dry Mouth
Designed to provide oral lubrication to stimulate the saliva glands, the oral swabs provide refreshment and relief for patients with restricted oral intake. Effective for patients with parched lips, patients on oxygen or fluid restrictions, and as part of routine oral care. Intended for single patient use only, these swabs are individually packaged and can easily be disposed for convenient use.
Used to Take Saliva Samples from Patients
For hospital and clinical use, the glycerin swabsticks are used to take saliva samples from patients during testing. The oral swabs can also be used for dry mouth relief due to medication side effects and coming off of ventilators. The elongated stick helps keep the hand a safe distance away from the mouth to avoid the risk of contamination.
