Accommodating soups or pureed food, the People Feeder is an alternative to syringe feeding. The soft, silicone rubber feeding nozzle can be squeezed to control the flow of food into the patient’s mouth. The internal plunger forces food through the side port into the nozzle.
Ideal for Bedridden and Dysphagia Patients
Designed specifically to assist bedridden patients or those with oral-motor issues, the People Feeder is easy to use and control. It controls the liquid flow rate for those who may have difficulty swallowing due to a stroke, muscular dystrophy, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, obstructions or blockages The feeding cup can also be used to feed formula to children with limited oral-motor skills or with limited use of hands.
Gently Squeeze the Silicone Nozzle
The nozzle measures 5-1/2" (14cm) and holds one tablespoon. The latex-free cup is made from clear plastic and holds up to 8 ounces of thick liquids. The feeding cup is durably constructed and safe for home and institutional dishwasher use. People Feeder provides the option to purchase two replacement nozzles.
