Solvent for Thermoplastic Splinting Materials
Rolyan Self-Bonding Solvent is used to prepare Polyform, Polyflex II, Aquaplast-T, and TailorSplint splinting materials, as well as Kay-Splint brands, for bonding. It helps condition the surface of these thermoplastic materials to promote effective adhesion during splint fabrication and assembly.
How to Apply Rolyan Self-Bonding Solvent
Apply Rolyan Self-Bonding Solvent with a brush to the areas to be bonded. Heat the treated surfaces with a heat gun, then press the materials together to create a strong, permanent bond.
Thermoplastic Material Compatibility
Rolyan Self-Bonding Solvent is not suitable for use with thermoplastic materials that contain built-in antimicrobial properties, as it may not provide an effective bond on these materials.
