SAM® Splint features a lightweight, versatile design with two layers of closed-cell foam surrounding a malleable aluminum core. The aluminum interior can be easily shaped and molded to provide customized support for a wide range of injuries and applications. SAM® Splint can also be cut with ordinary scissors, making it easy to quickly adapt the splint to different sizes and treatment needs.

SAM® Splint offers a lightweight alternative to traditional plaster or fiberglass splints, requiring only a wrap or tape to secure an injured bone or stabilize a joint. Its radiolucent design allows medical professionals to perform X-rays and CT scans without removing the splint, helping streamline assessment and treatment while maintaining support for the injured limb.

SAM® Splint is designed to perform reliably across a wide range of temperatures, making it a versatile choice for medical care in diverse environments.
