Deluxe Gel Foam Cushion
Sammons Preston Deluxe Gel-Foam Cushions are a combination of foam and gel to help prevent minor skin irritations and improve weight distribution. The cushions are constructed of a medium-density foam to prevent bottoming out with a soft top layer and four-chamber gel pack. The gel is designed to provide a cooling sensation to minimize perspiration and promote better air circulation.
Variety of Sizes and Thicknesses
Ideal for wheelchairs, transport chairs, or home and office seating comfort, the seat cushions are available in a wide variety of sizes and thicknesses. The cushions can also be used to slightly increase the wheelchair user's height. To keep the pressure-relieving cushion in place, the wheelchair accessory includes a slip-resistant bottom and quick-release straps.
Removable Antimicrobial Cover
The seat cushion includes a removable, antimicrobial polyurethane cover. Made from low shear and water-resistant fabric, the cover is designed to increase safety and protect users against moisture exposure caused by incontinence and perspiration. The outer cover also helps reduce skin-damaging friction and skin breakdown.
