Sammons Preston Transfer Boards with Slots help facilitate safe and easy transfers between surfaces. The hand cutouts help to provide a grip for the caregiver to help stabilize patients while transferring. To accommodate user's specific needs, the transfer boards measure 8" wide and are available in two lengths: 24” or 30”.
Ideal for Caregivers Moving Patients
Transfer boards are designed to help people move from wheelchairs to beds, cars, toilets, stair lifts, and other locations. These assistive devices can also be used for patients with limited mobility and lower extremity weakness. Serving as great tools for caregivers, transfer boards allow for patient transfers with minimal stress on the back and legs.
Hardwood Construction Ensures Longevity
These boards are constructed from solid hardwood smoothed to a satiny finish with coats of lacquer and tapered to 1/8" (0.32 cm) at both ends. The lacquer construction provides a high-quality protective coating for long-lasting wear and greater durability. The transfer boards hold up to 300 lbs of weight capacity and can be easily cleaned with nonabrasive household cleaners.
