Features Lateral & Medial Stays
Designed to be adjustable for varying leg circumferences, the Tri-Panel Knee Immobilizer features thick popliteal padding with mesh, breathable interior. The knee immobilizer is built with movable side panels for positioning, two medial and lateral stays, and three contoured posterior stays. The lateral and medial stays help to increase stability in the knee. Providing an anatomically correct fit, the Velcro straps are simple to use with the hook and loop closures.
Post-Operative Knee Immobilization
The Tri-Panel Knee Immobilizer is indicated for use with tibial plateau fractures, meniscal repairs, patella tendon repairs, and acute sprains or strains of the knee joint. The knee brace is designed to lock the knee in extension and prevent motion of the joint. Prevention of knee movement can assist those recovering from surgery to optimize the healing process.
Mesh Interior Prevents Skin Breakdown
The knee immobilizer is made with blue perforated mesh material to provide knee stability as well as breathable comfort to the leg. The patella opening offers additional ventilation to help prevent skin breakdown. To accommodate a wide range of individuals, the Tri-Panel Knee Immobilizer is available in sizes: 12 ½”, 16”, 18”, 20”, 22”, 24” and 26”. For repeated use, the knee brace can be hand washed and air dried.
