The design of the Sammons Preston Universal Thumb Spica Splint stabilizes the thumb and utilizes soft, breathable material to improve patient comfort. An adjustable stay increases support along the thumb but doesn’t inhibit movement. The fingers and palm maintain a full range of motion because of the low-profile design. This brace offers a great balance of support and freedom.
The universal style allows it to comfortably fit anyone while stabilizing the thumb after an injury. It can be worn on the left or right hand and has adjustable straps that create the perfect fit. The long size extends down to the beginning of the forearm for extra support around the wrist. Short size stops at the wrist and offers more mobility.
