Gurney with Five Position Elevating Headrest

Ideal for transporting and showering, this shower gurney is designed with a reclining backrest that can be raised to elevate the patient’s shoulders and upper body. Easy to adjust between five different positions, the elevating headrest provides postural support for bedridden patients. In addition to the headrest, the shower gurney features a full length drain pan with attached hose to catch falling water to keep it contained and draining in one direction to prevent slips and falls.

Drop-Side Rails for Barrier-Free Transferring

Once the patient is secured to a more comfortable working height that will reduce strain on the back, the shower gurney offers greater access to the patient for more comprehensive care. The shower bed is available in three different options that support varying user weights: 450 lbs, 600 lbs and 900 lbs. The side rails drop down to allow barrier-free transferring and are secured with user-friendly lock pins for safety.

Heavy-Duty Casters Allow Easier Maneuverability

The shower gurney is covered in a durable Phthalates-free PVC construction with mesh sling with padding sewn onto the fabric, called a duo sling. It also features safe-locking casters designed for wet environments for safe and smooth mobility. This versatile device is used in professional facilities or at home to transport an individual with limited body movement and strength to and from a bathing area. The shower gurney can easily be wiped clean with water and soap or a household disinfectant.
