The Silon-STS Silicone High Temperature Thermoplastic minimizes and reduces scars, particularly in the facial region. It aids in the prevention of hypertrophic scars and keloids that may be the result of traumatic injuries or surgical injuries. Since it works without pressure, effective scar management can even be achieved on soft areas of the face. Use customary forming techniques for high-temperature thermoplastics to shape the Silon-STS over a plaster mold. Then, trim as desired. Please do not mold directly on the patient.
