Prevents Cross Contamination Between Patients
Lift slings are designed to be placed under and around patients who have mobility issues to assist them to be lifted and transferred safely from a bed, wheelchair, toilet, or shower. The slings help reduce possible injury for both the patient and caregiver. To reduce the incidence of cross-contamination found in many healthcare facilities, these cost-effective slings are disposable after each use and cannot be washed.
Available in Split Leg or with Headrest
The disposable slings are available in packs of 10 in two options: split leg or with head support. The split-leg slings are made of strong, non-woven material with adjustable nylon straps. The slings keep the legs separated, preventing knee-knocking and helping to distribute the patient’s weight more evenly and comfortably. The full body sling with headrest helps prevent the patient from dropping their head back during transfers.
Eliminates Costs of Laundering and Upkeep
With a weight capacity of up to 600 pounds for both sizes, the slings may be used safely on most patient lift systems with a 4-point or 6-point cradle. The use of these slings is common in rehabilitation centers, hospitals, and medical care facilities. From patients who suffer from paralysis to elderly patients who have difficulty standing without assistance, patient lift slings are a useful tool for maintaining a patient’s comfort and safety while transferring.
