Heat Sealed or Stitched Vinyl
The pillow is available in two different options: heat sealed vinyl or stitched vinyl. The heat sealed pillow has two air holes, reducing the risk of an infection being passed on to another patient in a high risk environment. Measuring 4” thick, the vapor permeable or 'breathable' construction helps to reduce perspiration.
Use with Normal Bedding
Many of these pillows are now made from soft materials which have replaced thicker, plastic waterproof material. The wipe clean surface requires no laundering and is comfortable, hygienic, and economical in healthcare facilities. Used with normal bedding, the pillow eliminates the need for replacement covers.
