Swiftband Elastic Bandages
Apply compression on healing injuries using these high-quality bandages. The elastic bandage is easy to wrap and secure without using clips or pins. Just use the double closure hook and loop on the ends on each bandage. How to apply a compression bandage depends on the area you are wrapping, but here are a couple of tips. The bandage should be wrapped snugly for compression, but not too tight, you still want blood flow to the rest of the extremity. Also, while elastic bandages are great for compression, you shouldn’t use them to prevent re-injury. Try an ankle brace instead. This elastic bandage is made of polyester, cotton, spandex, and elastomer. You can hand wash it at 86°F and reuse.
Compression Bandage for Sprains and Strains
Use the elastic bandage for knee injuries to give the area support. The knitted bandage can be used for wrapping a variety of sprains and strains. You can also use the elastic bandage for ankle sprains to ensure your ankle gets the compression needed during recovery. They make an excellent addition to a home first aid kit and can also be used professionally with patients.
Elastic Bandage Uses
- Wrap sprains and strains (wrist, ankle, knee, and more!)
- Secure dressings, casts, and splints in place
- Use anywhere you need compression for muscles, ligaments, and tendons
