This neck wrap is filled with color-changing gel beads. The beads begin a royal blue color, but turn white when the pack is heated in the microwave. Or place your pack in the freeze and the gel beads will turn purple when chilled. This ColorSmart Technology lets you know when the pack is ready for use. After using for the doctor-recommended twenty minutes, as the pack returns to room temperature the beads will return to their original blue color.
