Various Levels of Graduated Compression
The knee high stockings are offered in various levels of compression: mild, moderate, firm and extra firm. Mild Compression (8-15mmHg) aids minor varicosities and helps reduce discomfort and swelling caused by tired, aching legs while traveling or standing/sitting for an extended period of time. Moderate Compression (15-20mmHg) is used to treat mild varicosities and edema. Firm Compression (20-30 mmHg) is used in relation to a condition of superficial veins and post sclerotherapy care. Finally, Extra-Firm Compression (30-40 mmHg) is ideal for conditions within the superficial and deep vein system.
Combination of Nylon and Spandex
Excellent for personal and professional use, these stockings can be worn for thrombosis prevention and used for the treatment of post phlebitis syndrome with chronic venous insufficiency. The elastic band helps the stocking stay in place and prevents loss of support due to movement or extended wear.
