Rebecca Stahley is the sales representative for our west region and has been with Performance Health for over 27 years. She covers most of the LA County and stives to build strong customer relationships. Rebecca says that one of her biggest strengths in her role is her occupational therapist certification, which allows her to understand what her customers are doing and what they need.
Part of knowing what customers need is knowing the best products to recommend to them. We’ve compiled Rebecca’s top recommendations here for you; discover her go-to resources for clinics and hospitals and why she recommends them.
Portable Parallel Bars
The Portable Parallel Bars deliver exceptional versatility and stability with a robust 600lbs base capacity (300lbs per rail), a welded aluminum frame, and anti-slip, antimicrobial surfaces for maximum safety and hygiene. These bars are designed to be exceptionally mobile and user-friendly. Built for diverse rehabilitation environments—from clinics and hospitals to home care—the durable construction and customizable adjustments of these bars make them an ideal solution for gait training, balance work, and strength-building exercises.
Rebecca especially recommends this product for PT’s, Acute, Rehab and customers with small spaces. She says, “the ability to fold up saves space and allows for easy transport to patient room or other areas.”
THERABAND Glute Straps for Outpatient PT
This THERABAND Glute Band Loops Pack includes a set of four fabric loop bands with progressively increasing resistance, engineered for high-impact glute activation and lower‑body conditioning in versatile settings—from home workouts to travel‑friendly routines.
Crafted from a durable Polyester/Latex Rubber blend and reinforced with sewn joints, the bands feature non‑slip rubber grips and a flat, 14″‑long × 3.15″‑wide design to prevent rolling or bunching during exercise. Each pack also comes with a mesh drawstring carry bag and an exercise overview manual containing ten instructional movements, enhancing both convenience and guided effectiveness.
These glute straps are Rebecca’s go to for outpatient physical therapy because they “do not roll up and they're more comfortable for the patient.”
FEPSim for Hand Therapists
The FEPSim system is a patented, lightweight, and portable rehabilitation tool engineered to enhance upper-extremity patient outcomes by targeting flexion, extension, pronation, and supination through customizable, task-specific exercises.
Its versatility stems from interchangeable accessories housed in either horizontal or vertical configurations—each packed in a convenient storage bag, easy to disinfect, and designed to support seated or standing use. This adaptable rehab solution empowers clinicians to elevate patient strength, range of motion, and functional performance across varied treatment goals and environments
“This equipment does 90% of what Baltimore Therapeutic Equipment would do for a fraction of the cost,” says Rebecca. “Great for strengthening the hand and forearm. It also includes elements for work hardening and it’s great for hard to do exercises such as 3-point pinch.”
Mobiderm Lymphadema for Therapists
These two Mobiderm products are a top choice for Rebecca because they take foam chips which can be hard to handle and put them in a roll for ease of use.
These are specialized foam-block bandages designed to enhance lymphatic drainage by creating pressure differences between raised foam blocks and surrounding skin, thereby optimizing fluid movement beneath the surface. This differential pressure effectively stimulates lymph flow, making it a valuable component in managing swelling due to edema or hematomas. Available in both small and large block versions, they’re adaptable for use on different body areas and can support reduction in localized swelling.
“In addition to that,” says Rebecca, “I’m hearing therapists report that it actually works more quickly to reduce the size of the extremity they are working with; reducing number of visits required for that patient.”
New Latex Free THERABAND Tubing
The THERABAND Professional Non‑Latex Tubing delivers a safe and durable alternative to latex resistance tubing, crafted from a powder‑ and scent‑free thermoplastic elastomer formula that mirrors the stretch and resistance of traditional latex without the allergy risk. Offered in six standardized resistance levels, it supports consistent rehabilitation and strength-building across upper- and lower-body movements. Packaged in a cost-effective 100‑ft bulk roll, it can be easily customized to exercise length needs and paired with various THERABAND tubing accessories for personalized, clinic- or home-based training.
This tubing is a new offering from THERABAND and Rebecca recommends them as a fantastic latex-free option for resistance training.
New THERABAND Loops in Higher Resistance
The THERABAND Professional Resistance Band Loops are pre‑formed continuous loop bands engineered with the Trusted Progression™ system, offering consistent, color-coded resistance. Made from a self-manufactured, high-quality natural latex formulation, these loops deliver reliable stretch and consistent pull force while eliminating the need to tie flat bands—a common cause of snapping and premature wear. With a 3‑inch width to reduce rolling and available in three lay‑flat lengths, they’re ideal for therapeutic and strength-building exercises targeting the lower extremities.
Another new THERABAND product, Rebecca keeps this recommendation on hand for clinicians who want options with higher weight resistance.
Wipeable Sock Aid and CleanPatch for Infection Control in Hospital Setting
The DMI Sock Aid & Shoe Horn is a dual-function dressing aid designed to help users put on socks and shoes with minimal bending, stretching, or strain—thanks to its long, easy-grip handle and simple three-step process. Its universal design accommodates virtually any type of sock or shoe and provides added convenience for individuals with limited mobility.
The CleanPatch® medical surface repair patch is an FDA-registered, Class I medical device designed to restore damaged polyurethane or coated surfaces—such as mattresses, stretchers, and foam positioning equipment—to an intact and hygienic state, thus reducing contamination risk and extending equipment lifecycle. It's simple peel-and-stick design enables rapid and reliable application using biocompatible, latex-free materials that remain impervious to fluids and compatible with standard hospital disinfectants. By preventing surface degradation and reducing cross-contamination, CleanPatch® offers a cost-effective intervention that enhances patient safety and decreases equipment downtime.
“Infection control has been top of mind since the pandemic,” Says Rebecca. “Both are great options. The sock aid does not have a rope and is completely cleaned by wiping down. The CleanPatch has gone through quite a few JACHO reviews with ease covering tears in upholstery.”
