IontoPatch Extra Strength
When a product has been discontinued, sales reps need to have a replacement on hand to offer their clients. With Ibresis discontinued, David goes to IontoPatch as the most comparable product, recommending the extra strength specifically.
These self-contained wireless iontophoresis patches use a battery to produce an electric current that carries the drug molecules across the skin and underlying tissue. The iontophoresis patch drug delivery system shuts off automatically when the prescribed dosage has been administered.
Performa VE
This is an option for customers who use the Ionto Plus (discontinued) and TransQ (often unavailable) electrodes. The Performa VE is our Preferred product and more reliably kept in stock, so this is David’s go to replacement recommendation.

FEPSim
This is a great product, according to David, for inpatient, stroke, neuro, and Parkinsons departments! He also sees this product as an opportunity for Concentra urgent cares that have a larger occupational therapy presence and workers’ compensation.

Obi Robotic Feeder
As a brand-new product, and with all the additional accessories available for it, David finds the Obi Robotic Feeder a fantastic opportunity for several departments in the VA, including occupational therapy, neuro, Parkinson’s, spinal injuries, etc.
Obi is a breakthrough dining device for people living with physical challenges and is easy to control after initial training. This feeder aid is controlled by switches and can be operated by any part of the body that is able to activate the switch. This feature allows the feeder to become an extension of the diner and makes eating more independent for the user.
SitnStand Lift Assist
David is looking forward to showing this new Lift Assist off to Vets who are wheelchair bound. “Not only does it help them get up,” says David, “but it saves their back and makes it easier for the attendant as well.”

CHRISOFIX patented technology makes splinting quicker and more economical than the earlier developed limb fixation methods. The line is a great opportunity for urgent cares, emergency rooms, and ATC outpatient stations. David shares that his customers find it to be an easy solution to fix common hand/wrist/arm ailments. In his opinion, this is a great product line for facilities that do not have a hand therapist present.
