THERABAND® Named the #1 Clinician Recommended and Trusted Resistance Band Brand

THERABAND® has been recognized as the #1 clinician recommended and trusted resistance band brand in a recent survey of rehabilitation and healthcare professionals. According to the survey, which included 300 physical therapists, occupational therapists, athletic trainers, and other rehabilitation professionals who regularly use or recommend resistance bands in patient care, THERABAND ranked highest for both recommendation and trust among leading brands.

For decades, clinicians have incorporated resistance bands into rehabilitation, strength training, mobility programs, and injury prevention protocols. As patient outcomes and exercise adherence remain a priority, healthcare professionals often seek products that deliver consistent performance and support evidence-based treatment approaches.

The survey findings reinforce the confidence many clinicians place in THERABAND products. Respondents identified THERABAND as the leading brand for both recommendation and trust, outperforming other resistance band manufacturers in these categories.

Performance Backed by Independent Testing

Clinician trust is often built on consistent product performance. Independent third-party testing found that THERABAND non-latex resistance bands lasted more than five times longer than a leading rehabilitation competitor's non-latex bands when tested at 175% elongation.

In addition, third-party pull force testing demonstrated the consistency of THERABAND's Trusted Progression™ system, which helps clinicians prescribe and progress exercises with greater confidence. Consistent resistance levels can play an important role in rehabilitation programs where measurable progression is essential.

Supported by Clinical Research

THERABAND products have also been the focus of published research examining resistance-based exercise interventions. Research highlighted in the survey materials notes the effectiveness of progressing resistance during strengthening rehabilitation programs and validates the use of the THERABAND resistance scale as a simple and precise method for controlling exercise intensity.

By combining evidence-based design, third-party validation, and decades of clinical use, THERABAND continues to serve the needs of rehabilitation professionals across a wide range of treatment settings.

Supporting Clinicians and Patients

Resistance bands remain a versatile tool for rehabilitation and therapeutic exercise, helping clinicians address strength, mobility, recovery, and functional performance goals. The recognition of THERABAND as the most trusted and recommended resistance band brand reflects the importance of reliable products that support clinicians in delivering effective patient care.
