Performance Health Now Exclusive Distributor for HEELIFT® Suspension Boots

As of May 11, 2026, Performance Health is the exclusive authorized distributor of all HEELIFT® families of suspension boots as well as ELBOWLIFT products for the United States and Canada. We are excited to be able to offer these extensive lines of patented products, developed for patient comfort and recovery.

About HEELIFT®

Developed in 1979, these boots created the category of heel offloading boots. HEELIFT has a commitment to sustainability with D2W certified biodegradable packaging. These boots are also 40% lighter than the leading pillow-style boots. HEELIFT boots have been used widely at hospital systems with and without affiliations with GPOs, long term care facilities and in community/home care settings globally in the USA, Canada, British Isles (Ireland and the United Kingdom), Middle East, Japan.

The HEELIFT® Offloading System consists of 6 different boots:

  • Classic
  • Glide
  • Glide Ultra (ultra fabric lining)
  • AFO Ultra (ultra fabric lining)
  • AFO (with heel splint)
  • Traction

Most are available in Petite, Standard, and Bariatric sizes. Each has distinct characteristics, but there is also commonality amongst the 5 styles. HEELIFT has a high level of clinical evidence.

Universal Features

HEELIFT boots are the coolest and lightest heel offloading boots on the market. They are the original customizable heel offloading boots on the market which can be uniquely customized according to each patient's needs. Customizations can be made by the physician or wound care specialist by cutting the padding inside the boot.

Customization areas include:

  • Foot and/or hip rotation (with the use of the HEELIFT Anti-Rotation Wedge)
  • SCD with HEELIFT
  • Achilles tendon
  • Foot drop
  • Malleoli

Additional boot features include:

  • Polyurethane foam Elevation pad
  • Friction free backing
  • High rate of patient compliance
  • Able to wipe down and sanitize
  • Machine washable
  • Single patient –multiple use
  • Designed for use on right or left foot

4 Easy Steps for Application

  1. Measure the patient for correct sizing by placing their foot within the boot with the heel above the opening.
  2. Thread the straps through the D-rings and secure them.
  3. Using two fingers, test each strap to make sure the boot is not too tight or too loose. The boot should not move on the leg, and the straps should not be in contact with the patient’s skin.
  4. Check and confirm that the heel is completely offloaded using the heel opening.
